Twilight Zone??????

I am wondering how you can have peace talks between two waring countries with only one country there? If you’ve been following the news, you know that Trump will meet with Russia to hammer out a peace settlement between Russia and the Ukraine without Ukraine present.

Last I heard, you had to have the two counties involved in the “war” talking together while in the same place. If a peace agreement is created without one of the countries present, it is not a peace agreement. It is not even an agreement, it is just a statement.

Furthermore, it sounds like Trump will be negotiating great terms for Russia since according to Trump, Ukraine is the aggressor, even though it is well documented that Russia did the invading.

European nations have expressed concern since they haven’t even been invited to the talks so they can protect their interests. For all we know, Trump will agree to give Russia things that European countries would never agree to.

This whole thing is so stupid. I just can’t believe Trump actually thinks he can negotiate with Russia to obtain a peace settlement, especially since it will be quite favorable to Russia. There is no way it is going to work, and things are only going to get worse.
